 Terms of warranty for Nobo products

The following conditions, which describe the requirements and the extent of our warranty service in relation to Nobo products do not affect your legal rights as a consumer which are in addition to the rights set out below,

1. Warranty period and start of the warranty

The warranty starts from date of purchase and lasts for [See below product list] from the date of purchase] (the “Warranty Period”).

2. Content and extent of the warranty

The product is warranted against any product defects or workmanship including surface stain, shadow, crack or fade under normal use and service for the Warranty Period.

Product defects that are due to material or production faults will be eliminated by the choice of Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG through either repair or replacement delivery (if necessary against an equivalent product, having the

same or comparable quality), at the sole discretion of Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG.

In the case of a replacement delivery, risk and title of the replaced product will be transferred to Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG.

3. Conditions and use of the warranty

The warranty can be claimed by presenting the original invoice / purchase receipt or a copy of it to Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG. At:

Please contact our customer service in advance by phone or in writing at the contact details above.

Please notify us in writing with photos of any product faults as soon as reasonably possible after detection and within the warranty time.

Any replacement may be the same product or a substantially similar product that may contain remanufactured or refurbished parts.

This warranty is non-transferable to a third party. 

 

4. Limitation of the warranty

The warranty is not valid in case of faults, that are reduced to:

a) Incorrect installation e.g. inobservance of the valid safety regulations respectively the enclosed user manual;

b) Improper use or treatment of the product e.g. any defects occurring from misuse or abuse including the use of writing instruments, accessories or cleaning products which are not sold by Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG or approved for use on Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG whiteboard surfaces;

c) External influences e.g. transportation damages, which are not covered by us;

d) Executed repairs or changes on a product, which have not been executed from Leitz Acco Brands GmbH & Co KG or an authorized agent; and

e) Non-observance of the care and cleaning work according to manual, eg use of cleaning products other recommended, and, normal wear and tear, which are to be expected over the course of ownership.
